The Snakebite exhibit consists of an interactive kiosk to allow visitors to visualise how a snakebite would take effect on their limbs.

A LEAP Motion device tracks a user’s hand on top of a glass panel from below. As soon as a hand appears above the glass, a explanatory video plays on a monitor in the kiosk and a projector displays a snake bite on the back of the user’s hand (projected from above). As the user moves their hand about, the snakebite remains in the center of the back of their hand as long as their hand remains on the glass.

A fully narrated script progresses through multiple stages of the bite as the user watches their hand in horror.
