  • Designed, animated, and programmed a game complete with joystick control as the primary form of user interaction
  • Worked closely with graphic designers and engineers

The joystick controls a drillhead of three different types. As the drillhead moves through different layers of rock, it moves at different speeds.

Working for Paul Bernhard Exhibit Design and Consulting on the Wiess Energy Hall at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, I developed a game to show a 2D, side-view representation of the practice of geosteering for oil exploration.

A 42″ ELO monitor displays a 2D landscape that the player must navigate through using a joystick-controlled drillhead.
